KU Center for Health Informatics offers flexible online graduate programs for full-time working professionals. Graduates are prepared to lead at the intersection of health care and technology in a variety of settings. Our graduate program options are:

  • Certificate (19 credit hours):  Core informatics courses are offered in a concentrated learning experience and can later be applied toward master’s degree requirements. 
  • Master of Science in Health Informatics (40 credit hours):  Courses focus on informatics, leadership, and research. Four specialty track options are:
    • Clinical – Online
    • Project Management – Online
    • Public Health – Online and on campus courses
    • Health Policy & Management – Online and on campus courses

Courses combine practical experiences with simulated course projects, and students integrate course learning by working with a mentor to complete a final practicum requirement.
